Really enjoyed the experience of the smaller cinema and not being crammed in like sardines. Lovely little bar to have a little pre cinema tickle too. I loved it.
Much, much improved since the recent refurbishment. Staff could do with being a bit more competent.

Always love going here. Very good productions and in the round so you feel part of the action.
Still the only theatre I can't get press conps for but the Chichester venues prove irrestistable particularly in a year dedicated to women. Whether debbie tucker green Enid Bagnold Charlotte Jones or last year Githa Sowerby; Chichester produce some of the finest theatre outside London. And the Minerva's particularly special. Despite regional gripes from a local rag Galsworthy's (yes Forsyte Saga but his plays are so much better) Strife of 1912 with its molton ingot dropped by hawsers and cooled into a board table is just one resonant image of this miraculous theatre. There's no props at all in one of debbie tucker green's plays (random/generation) a solo performance about black boys shot in London. But her other after a brief interval is a large cast in a working kitchen where the young die first of AIDS and the old bury them. The intricate Edwardiana of Sowerby's The Stepmother to the stripped stone grey circle of Charlotte Jones' superb return to theatre in The Meeting. Comfortable, a shade hieratic, there is a sense of Peter Brook's Holy Theatre about this place.

My daughter and I went to a show today 25/7/18, we stopped at the cafe for a quick light lunch. The food tasted delicious, it was fresh, well presented and was brought to us in under 5 minutes. The shortbread I had was the best I have ever tasted. A big thumbs up to all the staff for giving us a wonderful lunch before a wonderful show.

Free motorcycle parking. Clean and easy access.
I used this car park as a tourist, on a February day trip to the city. There were plenty of spaces, the parking fee was reasonable, and (for an active person) it was a modest walk from the city centre.
